Messaging Service allows wire/wireless communication service providers to provide their customers with services that canc check, store, and send informational messages for various forms of information such as voice, fax, E-mails, short/long text messages, and video clips.
At first, Messaging Service started in forms of VMS(Voice Mail Service) or SMSC when phone call could not be established. Then the scope of service expanded to include UMS which can combine voice, e-mails, and fax. Recently, voice message is conveyed through outbound call by typing in text or recording voice like V-SMS (also known as Message Call). It is expected that Messaging Service for video will expand even more by MMS as the 1xEV-DO and W-CDMA network develops.
